Oh my god! I had this conversation exactly so many times with my honey 😁

Oh! That's an excellent idea. Think I might do that too.

Technically, nothing. But in reality, hard bothsides-ing, and not mentioning that posting intended war crimes and genocide on social media is a bad thing. How is this confusing?

Well you can f*** right off @mark-carney.bsky.social with this weak sauce response. Disgusting.

That was a weird but great phone call with one of my oldest friends. He has known me probably longer than just about anyone. We haven't actually spoken in two or three years. He was the love of my life when I was 14 💜
We both lost our partners in the last couple of years.
So glad he called!

My rose bush has not woken up yet. Lots of snow has melted, but there is still lots left to melt. Looks like we will have a mess of snow and rain and freezing/not freezing for the next week or so...

I haven't looked at the forecast, but today has been lovely. Is this real spring, or just another fake spring?

Fish and chips or beans on toast?
That is the question.

"It seems to me, that if we love, we grieve. That’s the deal. That’s the pact. Grief and love are forever intertwined. Grief is the terrible reminder of the depths of our love and, like love, grief is non-negotiable. There is a vastness to grief that overwhelms our minuscule selves." - Nick Cave

I don't think I have ever worked for an organization that felt the need to actively promote their EAP at least half a dozen times in a four week period. Things are not good in publicly funded organizations in Alberta just at the minute.

I gave up on the federal party several years ago, but had some hope for what the provincial party could do. But I have been hugely disappointed. Living rural, I don't even know who I would vote for. Certainly not UCP, but NDP, at both levels, just pisses me off all the time!

A growing coalition across rural Alberta pushes for cheaper distribution fees on electricity bills | CBC News The Fair Electricity Distribution Alliance is pushing the Alberta government to take action on what they say are unfairly high distribution fees paid by their residents for electricity.

Oh, the irony! Rural Alberta wants some kind of equalization 🤣
"The alliance has sent a letter to the Alberta government urging legislative action of distribution rate equalization." (I am in favour of this, BTW) #ableg

Well, fuck. I was feeling so smart because I set up the coffee maker on the timer for tomorrow morning. Thought tomorrow me would love tonight me for thinking ahead. But then, when I was wiping the counters, I hit the brew button... Coffee's ready!

Got my power bill, which was ridiculous, and my utilities bill, which was a bit much. But I can't remember the last time I was this actively angry at an essential service provider. The bill is one thing, but the communication is driving me through the roof!

Yo, @telussupport.bsky.social - in case no one has told you lately, your online chatbot and your phone AI agent are infuriating!
Not to mention randomly adjusting my plan that was good until 2027, as "adjustments" on my current bill. Grrrr 🤬
