I don't think I have ever worked for an organization that felt the need to actively promote their EAP at least half a dozen times in a four week period. Things are not good in publicly funded organizations in Alberta just at the minute.

Well, fuck. I was feeling so smart because I set up the coffee maker on the timer for tomorrow morning. Thought tomorrow me would love tonight me for thinking ahead. But then, when I was wiping the counters, I hit the brew button... Coffee's ready!

To be fair, when I was finally able to connect with a human, they were very helpful and lovely. It should not be this hard!

Got my power bill, which was ridiculous, and my utilities bill, which was a bit much. But I can't remember the last time I was this actively angry at an essential service provider. The bill is one thing, but the communication is driving me through the roof!
