There is so much hype about the actual planetary alignment… the reality is a lot less glamorous. It happens from one side of the sky to the other, they are very far from one another and it doesn’t last long as some of them set very early in the night. 
shot this one 24/4/2022 at 5 in the morning depicting Jupiter, Venus, Mars, Saturn and the Moon. Uranus is between Jupiter and Venus but not bright enough to register.

EDIT: for those wondering about the sky color, a recent volcano eruption in Chile made our sunrises very red due to the amount of dust in the sky for months.

EDIT 2: even if the alignment is not that incredible, use it as an excuse to go see the night sky if there are no clouds. Venus is close to Saturn, Jupiter to Aldebaran, Orion is between them and Mars who is dancing with Pollux and Castor. It is a very interesting sky to see! Glorious even.
