Like the way this primary has gone isn’t really *that* surprising?

Warming up her campaign launch by praising Susan Collins on camera (to the degree that the Collins campaign actually used it) was so fucking crazy to me, but that’s how I knew she wasn’t going to run the right campaign. So here we are.

Random people on Bluesky will yell at you for saying it but she’s not run the campaign you want see rhetorically, and not the campaign you want to see in terms of activity either.

Not very popular, the unions in the state soured on her, and being backed by Schumer did not particularly endear anyone in Maine to her. And her campaign hasn’t been good.

It was always a fairly short sighted move by Schumer to recruit her imo
