I see, then I shall wish you good luck! I hope that you find a solution to your specific situation soon

If you'd like, I could propose some ideas from the times where I struggled with non-manifold models.
I would however need to know what the topology issues are to give relevant tips.

Have you had the chance to try the "Make Manifold" operation of the "3D Print Toolbox" add-on in blender yet?
From my experience it usually works quite nicely.

You might at least get an estimate for the publishing date by looking at the articles history in the waybackmachine on web.archive.org

Coming from university, I often found the visualizations of electron orbitals and conformational changes to be lacking. Furthermore it might be interesting to have a way of visualizing charge across a molecule and how it changes when reacting with other molecules.

Really cool stuff! I hope you can buy yourself a few nice things from your hard work!

I see, sadly I never got into geometry nodes much when they were released. I assume you are also able to reduce the amount of twists to 1/2, creating a diamond pattern, common across europe? Then you could create some presets, maybe apply some materials and sell it as an asset pack for a few bucks.

When I see stuff like this, geometry nodes always feel like forbidden black magic to me, great job!

Does the lower LOX tank have plumbing all the way down that would allow the settled propellant to be pumped out during a burn or would it be wiser to have a separate outlet at its bottom so that it naturally flows into the plumbing under accelleration?

i think everyone who posts rest in peace charlie kirk should be forced to read charlie kirk quotes out loud to a room of minorities and also their parents then have to explain why they think he should rest in peace still

There is also a continuation of the project on a discord that is currently supporting 1.21!

Same here, however I am thinking about buying some sort of CAD in blender addon to aid in designing mechanical parts.

Some helpful Subnautica commands that you might want to use for any visualizations are: sizeref (Spawns size reference entity), freecam (shift + 1 trough 5 for speed) and spawn [name]. The console is currently accessible through Shift+Enter. Tutorials that mention the F4 debug are outdated.

You are free to just say "a viewer" or you could use the English translation "NineMoons". If needed, I can also provide any needed graphics that fit more into a 16:9 format. Absolutely no worries!

Subnautica More Accurate Volume and Price Calculations

Using a tool, I was also able to calculate the volume of the mesh. These are in many cases much larger than your estimations. You can take a look at the values in this spreadsheet: docs.google.com/spreadsheets...
I would be glad if you could consider those values for your next video.

The foundation is 10x10m, each corridor is 5m long, the playermodel is 1,88m tall including the hair. Some of the items 80cm large or more. I have loaded all models into blender to visualize their size better.

Take these images for example. There are two sizeref entities on a foundation and some of the relevant items spawned in. When extracting the game files, these items and a playermodel can be put onto a foundation to validate the corectness of the relative sizes. Also notice the size of the diamond!

I really enjoyed your current video series on the house prices. However I noticed that you massively underestimated the sizes of the items using the hand reference and water depth approximations. Many items and objects are ridiculously huge in Subnautica which becomes really apparent in VR.

Really respect you for talking about such things similar to your Elon-ISS video from a month ago. Many creators avoid talking about politics but it icks me to pretend that nothing relevant happened. Ive lost a lot of enthusiasm for Starship & SpaceX to a point where I feel bad watching the launches

That is really clever! I have to get into geonodes more some day. I didn't start playing around with them when they came out and now I feel like an old man who got overwhelmed by modern technology overtaking him lol
