A little thought: Rocks and clouds basically behave the same way, just on very different time scales.

Layers of red rock converge in the distance toward a low sandstone prominence on the horizon. In the center of the image is an oblong rock structure vaguely lozenge-shaped, with a half-dead juniper tree growing from its base. Other low trees and bushes are scattered about the bare rock surface. The sky is blue with wispy, puffy clouds. Canon 6D, f/8, 25mm
