Amazing warm colors dominated the sky Friday night down near Sells, AZ. This storm had some low level rotation as outflows interacted all while kicking out some sick bolts. Sadly missed some of the bigger, closer ones while pulling up but this scene was what I dream about #azwx

Amazing end to my spring chase season in Nee Mexico tonight near Wagon Mound. Got to watch a bomb go off and caught it all on time-lapse. Can’t wait to edit it #nmwx

A tornado-warned supercell moves towards Gruver, Texas, back on June 6th. If you look at it long enough, you'll see an "Alligator's Mouth" on the right side seemingly scarfing down hay bales and wind turbines 🤣

Single shot 70mm from yesterday. Ghostly. Etherial. And a photo I'll probably never be able to top!

This was a particularly fascinating photo of the Dickens tornado. The bottom 1/3 of the condensed tornado appeared to 'hollow out' leaving just the shell of the circulation condensed, surrounded by dust. If you look closely the residual condensation takes on a 'braided' look similar to vinyl tubing.

And then there's Dora. Had some fun this weekend retouching all my prints with my new Lightroom know-how. Don't ask me why it's been 6 years and I still don't have this on my wall

It’s always a fun moment when a fellow storm chaser’s work pops up as the first example for my elective photography class! This time around it’s @mikeolbinski.bsky.social

Man the newest episode of The Pitt…would be hard for me to believe people could watch it and think that we are doing fine with gun laws. Ugh. Insane episode tho. What a great show.

As someone who spends a lot time thinking about the values I want to teach my kid (besides PLEASE DON’T EAT DIRT), the thing I keep coming back to is this: I want him to believe that the strongest, bravest thing he can do is give a shit about other people—especially ones who aren’t like him at all.

Perfect "shake the rust off" kinda chase today, featuring this doodad that I can only describe as halfway between a shear funnel and a tornado near Quanah, TX!!

Stoked to have my clip of the Dryden, TX tornado licensed by this documentary. Looks like it’s gonna be a must-watch for storm chasers.

I cannot wait till this May 31, 1985 tornadoes video is finished. I've never done anything quite this cinematic or editing-intensive before and I'm loving how it's turning out. New original music, Photoshop getting a workout, the full package. Keep an eye out the next few weeks
