Glad you rescued the drone! Yeap, flying can be interesting at times!

Well it's a gorgeous country. Warning though, can become addictive...this is my 25th trip.

In the foreground is the edge of a black sand beach, with the right side mainly covered in snow. Beyond is a deep blue coloured lagoon, across which a road transverse via a bridge. To the left of the bridge is a small oval island. Beyond the lagoon on the right is a snowy mountain with a flat top. The sky is blue with some clouds above the mountain.

Autumn definitely best time

A long black sand beach runs from the aerial viewpoint straight upwards through the view. To the left are low sand dunes covered in snow. To the right are breaks waves, with a deep blue sea beyond. On the horizon is a snowy mountsin that curves out to a cliff headland. The sky is mainly blue, with some low cloud over the headland, and with wispy streaks of cloud running parallel to the beach.

The north coast of Iceland is a deserted place, but spectacular!

My 25th trip to Iceland...seen every weather possible lol.

In the foreground is a rocky shoreline, with a steep rock cliff to the right. Just in front is a rock stack, with a sloped top, higher on the left side, while through the lower middle is an archway. Behind the sea is rolling in. The sky is mainly grey cloud, but being backlit by the post sunset orange and yellow glow, which is also backlighting the wave tops and illuminating the inner right side of the archway in the stack.

Today...waa horrible weather in Iceland, poor visibility, snow showers ranging from light to heavy...until 6:00 pm, when against the forecast, the sun appeared...for sunset...

A semi circular waterfall dominates the centre of the view, consisting of two main sections, separated by a section of rock. The water tumbles into a wide river canyon, and is deep blue in colour, typical of glacier fed rivers. The canyon sides are rock. On the horizon, mountains rise to meet the sky of get clouds, with hints of blue sky peeking through. The whole scene is covered in snow, while the exposure is a longer one to blur the water motion.
