I was able to find the Northern Harriers this weekend. Watching them hunt is very exciting. Their abilities in flight are mind blowing to watch. This photo shows the female as she suddenly changes direction and drops into the field below.

I waited in the brush for for what felt like forever and finally this Wood Duck emerged from the snag where he had been preening amongst the thick branches. Breathtaking to be this close to such a beautiful drake.
