I understand that part of their job for loads of kids is to help them get dry asap. But for kids where there are ANY suspicions of other stuff going on from a neurological or sensory perspective, taking it slowly is actually the fastest route to happy and dry kiddies

That some kids are so anxious that they need to be fully supported so as not to develop phobias and trauma responses thus worsening a situation that can naturally happen juuuuust before school or in the first year. Not all kids do things to the same timeline.
