Yes, it has. Records show the area where I live had these woodlands dating back to the 1600s and previous excavations have shown it was around (and inhabited) over 1000 yrs ago. 😊

I feel folks could benefit from nature’s calm right now. A tonic amidst the chaos. Here is a video from today’s early morning woodland dog walk. The spring flowers are blooming, the birdsong chorus was in full flow, and the air was warm. Pause, and rest awhile, my friends. 😊

A simple joy

Walking into my kitchen this morning to see that one of my orchids has opened into full bloom. The colours, the intricacy of its structure, and its vibrancy, all lift the heart. When we pause to look deeply at nature, we can find so much to be happy about. May your day be peaceful. 😊

Alas, she was part of the clan who enabled all of this shitshow for far too long. She did not have the guts to speak out then, and so gets no merit in my eyes for speaking out now.

Indeed! It’s a place called Poly Joke on the north coast of Cornwall. Every spring the poppy fields and adjacent rape seed fields bloom in vibrant reds and yellows. A very popular walk and super for photography!
