If I didn't have to work, I'd be listening.
I was reading about Skopje and apparently they had a huge earthquake in the 60s or 70s and after that the gov't went on a brutalist rampage rebuilding the city.
A short thread of some North Macedonian Brutalism in Skopje. Starting with the Central Skopje Post Office by architect Janko Konstantinov.
I can get behind this mythos.

I like practicing my British style driving the wrong way down the street.
The one true victim of tonight's game will be the plumbing system.
The real question is how many hot dogs is the stadiums plumbing rated for?
UFL and fire?
Is a dumpster invovled?
May I suggest the tamron 90mm f2.8 adaptall lens.
It will cost you pennies.. I bought one a few years ago for 20$.
Its not the most common lens, but they tend to be cheap, sharp and get you a 1/2 micro easily.
You can find the tamron 500mm f8 for 60-150$ on Facebook.
Ots probably the best cheap one you find. Its way better than any of the new 3rd party ones.
It takes practice to get used to. Focus plane is razor thin, and it had a 355degree focus throw.
A macro is always fun. Which lens u looking at?
Today was, but that builds character and puts hair on chests..
Lacrosse under the tower, love it.
Yikes... I've seen more coordination at a toddlers playground.
I'm game to sue Rogers for everything and anything.
Not bad. Some lenses have amazing compression. My favorite is the Tamron 500mm f8 mirror lens. Its the size of an extra large can of beans.
But it compresses the crap out of thing. Example below, look at the light poles. That a view down Broadview from Gerrard to Queen, shot from 500m up the street
The tunnel is under the train track north of the new bridge over the east don.
What tele lens did you use? Some have fantastic compression rates.
Many moons ago I used to play Aussie rules football and the grounds where the games take place are a Humber south campus.
But since I've stopped playing, I've not had the need to trek across town as much. And yes the streetcar IMHO is the best way to see the city east to west and back.
His cottage was right where the parking lot now stands and there is still a remnant of a bride he built to the east side of the river still standing..
But I'm not worthy of such a comparison.
There are a few stretched up river as well.
We live in the stupidest timeline possible.
In any other place on earth Trump would have been removed by now...
It too apparently has improved. I've not had a chance to go since Dec since sadly that area of the city isn't a part of my regular life patterns.
sub 45min?!?! Damn great stuff. I thought 55 was good earlier.. But I was comparing to previous bus options i guess.
