My health anxiety seems a little better about the whole “complex cyst in my boob needs a biopsy” type situation today. Just gotta keep myself distracted in the meantime until I get my official answer in a week.

In the meantime show me your pets/fur babies 💕

Mammogram and ultrasound today shows I have a bilobed complex cyst of ovoid shape but they want to do a biopsy on it. Which will be next week.
They told me my cancer risk is low but I still cried in my car.

To my ladies:
No matter your age please please please routinely check your biddies. It can save your life.

Side note: breast cancer does not run in my family. Also because it’s moveable the doctor is confident it’s a cyst or fibroadenoma.
But she wants to be absolutely certain.

Well this is fun.
Yesterday afternoon I felt a pretty big lump on the northern quadrant of my right breast. My heart SANK. Without hesitation I called up my PCP immediately and they were able to fit me in early this morning.
Now I’m waiting to schedule my mammogram and ultrasound.

- was converted from contractor to full time permanent several months early AND got a raise
- recovered from a back injury and placed 2nd at NC State Champs during a historic snowstorm
- thought I was back in NJ with b2b weekends of wintry weather extravaganza and 20:1 snow ratios
