Why microbes matter in restoration 🧵

My approach builds on #psychology and other #SocialSciences and applies their analytical machinery to soils. Specifically, I argue to use latent variable models to come to an ‘IQ test for Soils’. Read the paper to learn how & get in touch with your thoughts.

How do you know if a person is #smart? You ask questions.
How do you know if a #soil is #healthy? You take measurements.
But are we taking the right #measurements?
