Nothing that's happened to Morecambe has been a sudden or unexpected event. It was not an act of god.
Football has had *years* to intervene and rescue this club. There was ample evidence of the need for action and ample time in which to take it.
This is straightforwardly negligence and neglect.

Congratulations! An utterly incredible achievement!
It's been down all of today on both my laptop and phone, guess the process hasn't been done yet?
It is so important that Europe steps up to the plate now. Helping Ukraine to defend themselves is vital to not just their security, but ours too
It's been obvious since January 6 that he was an enemy of the USA, the UK & the whole of the free world. Everybody still in his camp understands this as completely as everybody against it. They just prioritise personal interest over the national & international. And they know it. They all know it.

And also which party they voted for in the last election too
It's pretty much effectively a whole-life order
They've also conviniently totally forgotten about some little thing called a cabinet reshuffle which every Prime Minister (apart from Liz Truss because her term was laughably short) does a few times
I think both come hand in hand. The alarm bells should have sounded when he tried to sell the club to that Sarbjot Johal guy last year
It says something about the current Morecambe owner that he appears so unwilling to sell the club to a suitable person
The reason why there will probably be a couple more Tory leaders before the next general election is because they spend so much time fighting amongst themselves
Yet another example of how unelectable the Tories have become. Wouldn't be surprised at all if Badenoch doesn't last very long
That seems to be what's happened at Swindon where the previous (pretty reviled) owner was forced out, only for the new one to be even worse
Very worrying stuff here for Morecambe. I don't see how he can pass the owners and directors test.
Makes you think relegation could leave the club more vulnerable as there aren't regulations on owners in non league. We saw what happened with Scunthorpe last year.
