Each year I produce a few wall calendars with my photography in them. I do a pre-order special to help fund the printing and shipping costs. I have three options for calendars this year, you can check them out here:

I still can't believe i captured one of the most amazing and favorite shots of sprites. The detail and intensity was outstanding. And it was from my hometown of Rio Rico. I would gladly forgo capturing normal lightning ever again if I could continue to capture these on a frequent basis.

Spent some time photographing my local Whistling Kites, there were about 20 of them in this little bay.

Any experts on #Bandicoot / Quenda on here? Our little friend was looking all healthy only a few weeks ago, but has now lost all his fur and isn't moving as well as he used to.

Ideas?

Depends on where you are during summer, the South coast is really quite mild compared to the rest of the country

I'm not sure there are many places that are more appropriately named than Peaceful Bay on the South Coast of Western Australia.

I do not usually engage in any sort of political commentary or discussion on social media because there is no room for nuance or in-depth thought... I postal voted last week and as soon as I saw that name I knew they had to be cookers / conspiracy people / not a party worth taking seriously at all.

Over 1 year of trying to photograph the bandicoot / quenda in my yard... today I was sitting out there and he (yes, this one is a male) came within 40cms of me!

A Whistling Kite (Haliastur sphenurus) launching into flight from our farm in Acton Park, Western Australia. These medium-sized raptors are named for their distinctive, high-pitched whistling call that often echoes over wetlands, rivers, and open country.

Whistling Kites are opportunistic hunters and scavengers, feeding on small mammals, birds, reptiles, and carrion. They’re also known for their skilful soaring, effortlessly riding thermals as they scan for food.

We've been on the farm for one year today... I would find it incredibly difficult to move back into the suburbs after this.

We're even more determined to get our own small farm.

I've had 3 different underwater housings for my main cameras, only sold them because I either upgraded camera or needed the money. I use a dome housing for the GoPro so that I can get the over/under photos.

I know, I had two of them, sold them both when I needed the money.

I've been teaching my girls how to snorkel and dive down to explore... they are growing in competence and that is building their confidence!

I really need to get another proper underwater camera rig, rather than just using my Gopro.
