You may just be learning about @propublica.org's union bustery, but it's been *2 years, 8 months, and 5 days since the the union was recognized*
Worse, given the incredible work of holding the current admin account by their employees, its OBSCENE they won't even accept basic just cause protections!

my 2018 berlingo can hold twice as much as that Ford Excrescence or whatever it's called and is twice as comfortable as anything I've driven in the states, allez faire foutre with these horrid things
I feel like I figured I might need this one in the future too…

How about some snow? Snow is so relaxing when viewed from a nice warm train. Especially in Japan. I can feel the warm milk tea bottle in my hand now.

Just watch and think about how many people this Shinkansen has relaxingly brought up and down Japan's Tohoku region.

Hey, so I don't know if you could use a bit of time spent doing eight-in, eight-hold, eight-out, eight-hold breathing, but friends, I sure could.
Here's a #JohnDoesJapan thread for us.
Pinging @garius.bsky.social for what we use…
Substack's business model is almost certainly unsustainable. The only way they can hope to make it sustainable (though even this probably won't work) is to lock writers into the platform. So they keep taking steps to make it more costly for writers to switch off the platform.
I bet she thinks that contradicts itself. Tortie-logical.
wise words, jadine

I'd agree — T2 makes you walk a little bit sideways to come back to the centre, but it's by no means as egregious as T5. And these days, T3 is a comparative pleasure!
A 2008 Stansted map showing departures into duty free. It is a small walk past a WHSmith rather than an impossible labyrinth style maze.
So, Stansted wasn't *designed* to feel that way — the mandatory duty-free labyrinth was added relatively recently, for exactly the same reasons: airlines wanted to pay lower fees, so you're frogmarched past the Jo Malone and Toblerone.
Two questions:
1) when was the last time that there were two Lufthansa widebody aircraft in Berlin?
2) when was the last time that was a scheduled revenue service?

Yep! This is absolutely what you should do if you are able to wait — this situation is a Them Problem, and it is up them to resolve it.
(For passers-by: this is NOT carte blanche to be a dick to any disabled person who *is* walking off a plane for any reason, including harm/injury reduction.)
Oh that is absolutely INFURIATING, but absolutely consistent with everythign I've heard from other disabled people and wheelchair users — and indeed witnessed when travelling with my folks, both when temporarily disabled due to injury and now they're older and less able, so use WCHR assistance.

Yeah, I think so — the COVID shutdown completely disrupted my sense of recency when it comes to time, but I think that's what happened, and I don't recall that there was enough space between those gates for *two* separate lounge spaces.
This was 2016 if my photo dating is right:
Between 23 and 25? That sounds like the space of the ex-HK Club Bauhinia, which IIRC was *also* The Cabin.
*peers* is that the space that used to be The Cabin?
Agreed (on all parts)! I've used City, and it was really great when I lived in Bermondsey in 2005, pre-Liz Line. Great as a passenger. But there's a huge amount of incredibly well-connected space at — and crucially *near* — the airport that could be massively developed if the planes weren't there.
