For sure! We get lots of these large, nice examples in the ubiquitous boulder fields near where I grew up.

There actually is a wolf lichen (Letharia vulpina). This one.

Conception Bay North (about 20 Minutes north of Carbonear). we do have some garbage in the kelp, but not too much…especially when heaved up in large amounts by storms.
That’s horrible about the birds. Do you know what the cause of that was?
