Interesting hearing in Senate Community and Regional Affairs this afternoon on SB 250, Sen. Tobin's bill seeking to regulate data centers. Basically, an attempt to rein in the secondary costs of data centers.

Spending half of the states savings on a $3,800 dividend is wildly irresponsible when we are closing schools and aren’t providing basic services. Alaska is broke. Using the PFD and Iran War money is a cynical ploy instead of fixing our budget deficit. #akleg
