Art piece titled "You'll live" is a piece made in frustration to many dramas and fallout posts made in the furry and cosplay scene around the morality of sex and sex toys. What should and shouldn't be criminalized, what is and what isn't dangerous and whether or not it speaks well on the person's well-being or if it is indicative of paraphilic disorders. "You'll live" is my response to the many times I have seen artists and furries alike outted for their use of cruelty free, knotted sex toys. The social murder that comes with these call out posts and the sexual harassment that targets individuals that are made out to be criminals based on what sex toys they use. The phallic toy depicted is part of my collection of fantasy sex toys, modeled and molded by real artists and made with fantasy in mind. The toy was chosen as a model for this piece to show that this is the type of toy that many would label an artist as "zoophile" or accuse them of acts of beastiality. It's a toy chosen because of it's human characteristics, its human head and shaft all human besides its scales and knotted bottom. The depiction of the toy covers a majority of the page to show its intimidating shape, contracted by the pink colors drawn with paint pens to communicate it as harmless and juvenile like the scribblings of a teenager made to shock the viewers. The phrase "you'll live" is a nod to the fact that despite its appearance and the villainization of its owners, it is nothing but a harmless sex toy. Making the point that the discomfort caused by gazing upon it is temporary trivial and meaningless like the outrage it triggers from online audiences.
