A história deste quadrinho se passa numa praia fria com muitas pedras entre a faixa de água e rochedos emoldurando a faixa de areia. Nela, duas personagens conversam, embora cada uma delas trava assuntos solipsistas que embora sejam respondidas pouco prestam atenção ao que o outro fala. A primeira personagem é uma mulher de pele clara e cabelos castanhos avermelhados que usa um vestido preto longo acetinado com uma fenda na perna. Ela aparece em pose acuada, como se titubeasse diante de suas palavras. O segundo protagonista é um homem de cabelos e barba pretas desleixadamente cortados, que veste camisa azul-escura de mangas longas e calça azul dessaturada de poliéster. No quadrinho segue o texto, com os balões separados por “/” e informando a personagem que fala entre parênteses: “(a primeira personagem fala:) Agora que estamos aqui, todas as palavras que carrego não são suficientes para serem ditas. / Porém não me ofereça o silêncio. / (a segunda personagem fala:) Separando as pedras achei que abriria caminho para o mar passar. / E passou, sim, como também arrastou tudo ao redor. / Eu, as pedras, o píer, os barcos, as algas, os peixes. Nada ficou no lugar. / O que isso significa? / (a primeira personagem fala:) Não sei, pois entrega palavras que não são para mim. / Talvez você esteja à procura de mais pedras para separar. / Isso não é comigo. O que posso dar são palavras insuficientes para serem ditas. / Porém não me ofereça o silêncio.”.
