This is the trough that holds up the old clematis and I think from where the periwinkle started its wondrous journey all around the wall and kennel (rhs out of shot) the ladybird is clinging to the herb (fennel ?) and said periwinkle but what a surprise to see it there 🧤🐞more or less centre of the greenery x
There’s three of these small compost bins that I use instead to show off herbs and blooms - those pansies were unhappy on the old work bench so I tried them in with the older lavender and rosemary - heho they like it there and are sporting their funny flower faces 🌟

A huge road sign sits to one side of the intersection of Great Northern Highway and Gib River - Wyndham Rd, at Lake Argyle, Western Australia. Solar panels at the top of the sign power LED messaging showing the latest road conditions for 7 outback roads along this route. The sign currently indicates all the roads are open, to all vehicles types. Given the many creek crossings involved and the roughness of the roads, this is an important tool for travellers who don’t wish to get stranded. The second sign warns that this is a road train route. They can be up to 53.5 metres (175.5 feet) in length, so a warning is given to take care when overtaking. A third sign advises that the next opportunity to buy fuel is 341 kilometres (212 miles) away.

By the end of the old work bench is a small wildlife patch and of course a water 💦 stop available - there is another nearby (Sam’s old water bowl - very old and still in use 💖🐾🌟🌸there’s our gnome shouting up with both hands to his mouth ! Good news please!! He is at the bottom of the climbing hydrangea clematis and periwinkle - some daffs are around too 🧤
