I have to say that I am extremly surprised about the functionality in the Proton Apps. At the start I was just trying to get away from Google, and migration of E-Mail and documents went like a charm. Calendar is ok, but Photos are not (se Immich). Now I am also using Authenticator.

Earlier this week, I've signed my dad up for an email service called #Proton Mail. Sadly, one of his emails that he have (i.e. MS and GMail) were the victims of numerous data breaches over the years.
I also might consider signing him up for Yahoo, Tuta or even the Canadian alternative: #Northmail.
