Vase designed by Verdi Adams, leaves and stem designed by me. Flowers... anonymous. All folded and assembled by me. Diatribe about my love of this plant: This piece features the Heavenly Blue variety. They only bloom for one day, with the buds changing colour as they unfurl like a spiral, from pink to violet to a deep deep blue. Then back to pink when they get fertilised and fall off. Like looking at the sky in Central America where it originates. Blue so rich you'd think it's dusk. At midday.

Origami morning glory. My favourite plant for many reasons. Folded from post-it notes.

A paper bow that lifts your gift I've made my mom & dad an Easter gift this week (it's something that I want to share in more detail with you guys later on). When I wrapped it in pink polka dot tissue paper, I remembered a blog post of mine that I recently edited, where a recycled paper flower adorned a birthday gift (also for my mom). I decided to replicate that bow idea for this gift (about 19 years later), but using paper of a roll of yellow gift wrap.
