I finished my readthrough of WIP 1 yesterday, but then I had an idea that would involve a fair amount of rewriting. 😅😂
It’s an idea I’ve gone back and forth on for a couple weeks, and I think the fact I keep coming back to it probably means I should at least try it out. 😅

I finished the latest round of editing for both WIPs in my duology!
WIP 1 is now 97,000 words!!
WIP 2 is now 83,000 words!!
I’m an underwriter, and the first drafts of these stories ended at around 45K and 55K respectively😅

Over the weekend, I wrote three of the four scenes for the new chapter, totalling at 2,750 words.
One of those scenes was about a stolen chicken, and another had mountains of female rage. The remaining scene I have left to write will probably be almost as fun 😅

I intended to only edit one chapter yesterday, but seeing as the final chapter only had one very small comment on it, I decided to just go for it!
So the new idea has been fully implemented into WIP 2, and it has brought the word count up to 83,000!
