Still can’t believe #Ellis had only 4 episodes for series 2. One extra than series 1 but still. To establish the show properly it needs a longer run or it needs two hour episodes like Vera style if it’s gonna be short. ITV would’ve handled it better.

#Ellis is back. I really like Andrew Gower's character. He usually plays simpering ineffectual types, but in this he's confident and competent. It's typical for a DS to be an audience surrogate and ask the dumb questions of the DCI, but he's much more proactive here.
