I was just talking to a friend today about Dolly Parton's Imagination Library - new books every month, totally for free, for kids ages 1-5.
My son was part of the program - this is a copy of the letter that came with his last book, right after his 5th birthday.

nice, the downtown 3rd avenue downtown bus corridor is usually really rough with these. the good thing is that busses are so frequent there that it’s not too big of a deal
sadly the placement of these things is always really terrible during the day, i think i’ve seen like 2 of these in the entire city that are very visible during the day
