I hear ya - but I am learning so, so much! Tying the Lomaxes/Leadbelly, Manson, Minstrelsy and the Wilson brothers together is fascinating. As you say, the amount of research he is doing to get there is staggering to me.

I'm finally up to Song 177 - Never Learn Not To Love by the Beach Boys, and this may be the best work @andrewhickey.500songs.com has done to date. I've always wanted to learn more about the Lomaxes and well... everything else in this one. Absolutely fascinating work!
