⭐ Why does Chatvoice recommend using Microsoft Edge?

Because I wanted the project to have zero server upkeep and remain free of charge, it utilizes your browser's built in Speech Synthesis API. And unfortunately, Microsoft Edge provides the most robust list of voices. SpeechChat has this issue too.

⭐ What makes Chatvoice different from SpeechChat?

Chatvoice lets each chatter have their own assigned voice taken from your available pool of voices, instead of having one voice read it all.

It's also entirely local in the browser, with a built-in backup/restore feature so that you own your data!

elgato software in the past year or two has got to be the most unreliable thing ive ever used. wave link 3.0 especially just constantly crashes when exiting some programs.

i still havent forgotten how buggy epoccam was when it still existed. truthfully cant recommend their products anymore.

it's an actually functional windows file explorer that is SOOO much faster than the regular windows explorer. like i cant understate how optimized this app is. everything is just instant, i love it

ive just been burned by macos software getting a windows version after the disaster that was arc browser. so im glad that it functions well

its in open beta now, but i was a part of the closed beta for raycast on windows and holy moly its a game changer

windows search is so bad that ive switched to using raycast for file searches, launching apps, websites, and holy moly its so much better and WAY faster
