Movie Wednesday!
As a Star Wars fan boy, this video hits the nail on the head.
For a long time, it felt like the magic was fading into something made for children, not us.
Then Andor changed everything. It’s the gritty, real rebellion we needed.

I don’t know how many times I have seen the film. But it still makes me smile. Thanks for reminding me to watch it again!
Poster for Solo: A Star Wars Story. Art of characters grouped together in various poses in the middle, yellow and purple clouds behind, a ship being chased on the side, at the bottom, the title in white font.

The Bishop's Wife (1928) by Robert Nathan was adapted in 1947 & as The Preacher's Wife in 1996. Both adaptions are loosely based on the story, which is darker in tone. The angel is reticent and even depressed, whereas the films concoct a romantic charmer. 😇🎄⛸️

Found this bold piece of red and black graffiti on a local brick wall.
The raw energy of the brush strokes really stands out against the weathered texture of the building.
Street art always adds such a vibrant layer to the neighborhood.

This video from CinemaStix explores the idea of Star Wars as a "silent movie," where the story is carried by John Williams' iconic music rather than dialogue.
It's a fascinating look at the saga's visual storytelling roots!

Hey #filmsky (and #scriptsky)
It's been a while since I did movie recommendations.
This is one of those hidden 2018 gems: Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri (dir. Martin McDonagh)

A minimalist's dream or a geometry teacher’s favorite nightmare. "This Way 3" features sharp lines and clever angles that are doing all the heavy lifting to make sure you don't get lost in the frame. Point taken!
Capturing perspectives.

Enough is Enough! 🚫
This is one time I am glad he chickened out.
(Even if it looks like a ceasefire)
Remove him—he is 100% crazy and corrupt to boot!
USA needs leadership you can actually trust, not more of this.

Good Luck, Have Fun, Don't Die" was a total surprise!
Much better than expected, and Sam Rockwell is stellar as always.
If you're looking for something fresh, this is worth the watch.
The movie poster is not bad either!
Will you be checking this one out?

Hi Robert E. Yeap agree 100%
I saw a documentary about Revenge/Return of the Jedi while doing research, and Lucas said that Jedi’s don’t take revenge.
The reason he changed the title.
But who ever got their hands on Revenge posters must be happy!
Good morning!
A bit of Spring color poking its head out today.

A New Hope (Tom Jung) A classic 1977 poster where a muscular Luke Skywalker strikes a heroic pose, lightsaber held high like a beacon of hope. Princess Leia stands at his side, blaster ready, while a massive, shadowy Darth Vader looms in the stars behind them. Truly the blueprint for space opera chic.
The Empire Strikes Back (Roger Kastel) The moodiest of the bunch. Han and Leia share a cinematic, romantic embrace center stage while riding a Tauntaun through the icy mists of Hoth. Darth Vader’s helmet is integrated into the dark, nebulous background, overseeing the chaos. It’s peak galactic drama.
Return of the Jedi (Kazuhiko Sano) The ultimate 1983 "class photo." Luke looks focused with his green lightsaber, flanked by a rugged Han and Leia in her palace outfit. Jabba, Ewoks, and Lando all squeeze in for the finale, while Vader’s mask provides the dark framing for the Jedi's return. #Moviesky #starwars
Favorite movie posters of the week: Star Wars Original Trilogy
This week features not one but 3 iconic posters!
From Tom Jung’s heroic Luke and Leia to Roger Kastel’s romantic Empire vibes and Sano’s Jedi assembly.
Masterpiece or Mess?

Thanks a lot Luis, it means a lot coming from you!
I tried a few different edits but BnW seems to work best and gives the photograph a moody feeling.
If you know what I mean? 😬
You’re so right! It just gets worse for the world. 299 characters can not express my anger at this moment!
Lisa O'Neill’s "The Wind Doesn't Blow This Far Right" perfectly captures the mood tonight.
A haunting reflection on nature, power, and the world we share.

Shocked but not surprised.
We’ve seen this pattern throughout his presidency, yet these words remain chilling.
How many times must we endure this cycle of disbelief?
Enough already. Stop the craziness!

From color to monochrome
A simple edit transforms a foggy morning into a moody, timeless scene.
I love how the B&W edit emphasizes the silhouettes.
Which do you prefer? Have you shot in the fog?

The film's poster art was drawn by Jack Davis, one of the founding illustrators for MAD magazine.
One of only three movies written by Bill Lancaster (son of Burt Lancaster); the other two being The Bad News Bears Go to Japan (1978) and The Thing (1982).
Lines into the mist...
The geometric symmetry of these greenhouses is striking as they fade into the dense fog.
It creates a quiet, almost sci-fi atmosphere.

I also love the song. But they have so many great songs I think I would find it very hard to choose!
This morning I got up for work after the Easter holiday. Tired and not in the mood to do anything and this song comes on the radio!🕺
Love this logo, simple and effective like a Logo should be. Restraint is key when it comes to Logo design.
Thanks for sharing with me.
Ok cool,
If the photographer Martin Parr ‘s work was a song I am guessing it would be this!
Hi Robert E. Yeah I am the same especially like this one and scrolling up or down🤯
