I dunno about y'all, but I've been feeling super unwelcome in the ATmosphere lately. The toxicicity and hostility abound is becoming unbearable. Gonna cut back my use for MH sake.

Will try to rediscover friends on the other side. I hope more of us can discover peaceful healthy spaces to exist in. 💜

Family can be rough, but unfortunately both of your children are considered "problematic" by the US government. That's a whole other level of harassment and shame, even if you aren't an American.

What Claire expressed frustration over is but a taste of what things for your kids will be like.

As a parent I hope you realize that although you are unphased, your kids won't be. You likely grew up in a toxic situation where you needed it to survive. Unless you were to harass them as you were, your kids will not be as resilient as you are (and please don't consider it, it's child abuse).

The point I'm trying to make is that we all have something that can be said about us we don't like to hear. You being unbothered was something you built-up over your lifetime, and from the sounds of it it was because of your family.
