Oh, this is good. Idaho passed a bill banning local cities from flying the Pride flag. So the cities decided to wrap the poles themselves in pride colors.

I feel a scene like this made 30 years ago adds ammo against people who think Kids Movies are expected to be a babysitting timewaster and not have anything significant in them outside of visuals, especially for characters that previously had little to them to work with
if you want a genuine take from me on this: i find that the sphere surrounding currently popular anime in genres like shonen are fundamentally lacking in critical thinking skills because the people who watch and read it do not want anything deep that they might be uncomfortable engaging with
