It's an excellent question. Interestingly, I had a writing client recently who had me sign a declaration that I wouldn't use AI. I never do, so it wasn't an issue. Would it help to get researchers to sign a declaration that they, at best, will use it as a research tool and not to write the piece?

Active v passive voice
#TipTuesday Spot passive voice in your writing: If you can add 'by John' to your sentence and it still makes sense, it is probably passive voice. For example, if you write 'the car was driven' and add 'by John' it still makes sense. Rather write 'John drove the car'. #amediting #amwriting
