It's almost comical to see what's happened with #OpenClaw the past few days. I was using it intensely for the past two weeks and my mind was blown. But something about it felt wholly unsustainable with the waste and number of tokens used. Now it costs like 5X to use it to pay by the token.

I'm having a terrible time with ChatGPT 5o so far.

I just got "The conversation is corrupt. Please start a new conversation."

I keep getting "Stopped reasoning" after 5+ minutes of thinking not at all related to the prompt.

Did OpenAI even test this before release?

Although it was inspiring to see the Chinook salmon, both rivers are in poor health. There used to be ~100k salmon returning each year and now there are only several k. Dammed up and adulterated river flows create steep banks instead of flood plains with slower moving water. Cool learnings tho!

Large, dead chinook salmon on the Stanislaus River near Oakdale, California which traveled up river from the ocean to reproduce. The photo is taken while standing on a kayak looking down on the fish in the water, which is only a few inches below the surface. The salmon appears to be several feet in length.

I went on two "Paddle with the [Chinook] Salmon" by the Tuolumne River Trust in Nov. On the Tuolumne River near La Grange, we saw a few salmon in the riffles. But many more on the Stanislaus River, esp. where USFWS projects added sediments (sand thru rocks) to create spawning habitat.
