Same waterfall, 5 hours apart.
We stayed by this waterfall for 5 days while exploring the southwest highlands. They were long days of driving and hiking that revealed the best Iceland has to offer. Grand vistas and otherworldly structures alike. But, this little waterfall felt overlooked.

You can hike a 49km loop at this location. We only had time for a quarter of it, but I’d like to go back someday and see more. Every hill revealed another surprise as you walked the ridge line.
