I hope so too. His original was definitely top tier late 80's awesomeness. I actually cosplayed this Night Force version, much easier to source softgoods than his more colorful version. Though the OG is still my preferred version. If nothing else, there is a Retro Card version to hope for.
I've been pretty impressed with DX9's work. They usually use good plastics and even some Diecast. They've definitely taken their time with him as well, he was originally scheduled for release last year but they wanted to make sure they put the effort in, so they delayed it. Fingers crossed.

The first Skeletor B-sheet design was created this day in 1981 by Mark Taylor. He was actually based on an earlier design of Mark's from the 1970s called "King of Styx." But he was redesigned for Masters of the Universe on March 30, 1981. Initially his name was going to be "De-Man," pun on "Demon."
