On 15 Dec 2025, the UN adopted a historic global declaration on noncommunicable diseases and mental health. It calls for strengthening mental health systems, integrating mental health into primary health care, reducing stigma, ensuring equitable access to prevention, treatment & psychosocial support
Nearly 80 years since the adoption of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, there is a growing need for everyone, everywhere, to take a stand to protect the most vulnerable, safeguard mental health and well-being, and keep human rights alive.
