And it's not even the best way to filter your content either because of that vagueness, it gives the onlooker no detail. That's why I like using individual cws because it's less vague and more of a big sign telling you exactly what you're about to get into

I know these terms aren't supposed to be taken extremely literally, but I hate using them because why would I base my content filtering around an environment that is more often than not unsafe and exclusionary for many. It's so vague and twistable

If any minority (queer, poc, disabled, etc) faces discrimination in a work setting, does that mean that the definition of nsfw can change depending on the users discriminatory bias? Does that mean minority identities could be classified as nsfw??

(This doesn't mean it's neccessarily "safe" either because those industrys are still so dangerous). Same can be said for things that on the surface LOOK sfw, but could easily be (wrongly) passed off as "not safe for work" because of unfair irl work settings

I hate the acronyms "sfw" and "nsfw" because what REALLY makes something safe for work? There are jobs related to sex (sex typically being something categorized as nsfw), like sex work, the porn industry, etc. What does that make it? (1/5)
