Personalisation has gone so far that there are no longer any common pages left on the largest websites.
YouTube doesn't even let you use the "home" page if you have history turned off.
It used to be a cool thing for a video to be popular enough to get to the frontpage but now it's all FYP algorithm

The smart glasses I want don’t have a microphone, or a camera, or AI. In fact they only have one feature: Apple Find My integration.

It's actually crazy how quick my brain (and I assume others') has got at pattern matching AI slop READMEs.

I had a repo open for all of a second just now and thought "this looks AI-generated". Scrolled up, saw CLAUDE.md, yep.

I still think replacing your voice is one of the worst uses of LLMs.

LinkedIn chuds will post things like 'It's like nowhere else, here's some perks of working at Scrongle dot io' and it's just 8 white dudes squinting at their laptops on a rooftop in East London?

Brent Cross really feels like we gave a US town planner the reigns for a small slice of London. Car-centric nightmare that's a total pain to get around as a pedestrian.

idk I’ve seen a bajillion kids movies where the kids parents die & let me tell you, having a convo with my kid about how anyone can die at any time & it doesn’t matter if they’re someone’s mom or dad is way harder than having a convo about how sometimes someone has two dads or whatever. And yet

Depending what you want to receive on it, A&A's numbers can be quite useful. They have an SMS -> email gateway (receive only I think, but that's good enough if you just need to receive auth codes).

genuinely depressing how many technical blogs are now littered with the hallmarks of samey, sloppy, llm-generated writing

According to all known laws of aviation, there is no way a bee should be able to fly.
Its wings are too small to get its fat little body off the ground.
The bee, of course, flies anyway because bees don't care what humans think is impossible. #glassart
