Honestly with this opinion in mind, I'm happy DK's climbed up the meta ladder recently.
He's more commonplace in terms of getting good results (even if he either doesn't typically win or doesn't do it alone) and he's really fun to watch/play.

Yes but I really don't think a grappler SHOULD be capable of killing you literally whenever they feel like it.
Luigi's like if Zangief's piledriver broke the opponent character's spine and paralyzed them.

One thing I respect Donkey Kong for in Smash is that he really feels like the only character in Ultimate that is meant to be a grappler AND functions like one SHOULD.
He doesn't kill you off of a grab usually, but he can still do insane damage.
Bowser and Incin I'd argue don't get the same reward.

Potential unpopular opinion:
While I do think Smash 4 Bayonetta was an awful character design?
I'm really starting to think Ultimate's top tiers are more obnoxious.
ESPECIALLY these three. If fighting games had a class, they should be shown as how to not balance a character.

Except... well, his reading skills are somewhat underwhelming, so he pretends to read while talking about his duels with a certain crocodile who's cruel.
