Is that an obvious shortcut or one you have to look online for?

I like that designers are able to put novel mechanics in these games. I know quite a few people that love the mini games. But, I think putting the story/progress behind them is a major bad idea.

It's funny, the two most important rules to make the game go faster are the ones everyone fights against:

1. Every property landed on gets bought by -someone- (lander gets first dibs, then it's auctioned)

2. No free parking nonsense where someone gets the money in the middle of the board.

Same! I wish those games had the LA Noir mechanic where your partner could drive for you, but I'm super not a fan of when I'm suddenly required to be good at driving and have to beat some AI driver or the like. boo.

None of this: "pull against the movement of the fish and reel in when it's tired" nonsense. You're not telling me when it's tired, it's dark, I can't see the direction of the fish (also, fix gamma settings).

I hate your fishing game.
I don't care what game you're on, I hate your fishing game.
Let me skip it, accessibility option past it, or even upgrade to unbreakable fishing line/bait/pole, I don't care.

Some people will ignore the 75% textual caveats I put there, so there is a high potential of shit storm no matter how carefully I say things.
