Excellent daily service here in Kildare - really sad to see these huge price increases. People will move away from posting anything as they are so squeezed all round

Section 5(1)(f) of the Child Trafficking and Pornography Act 1998 (as amended) makes it a criminal offence to knowingly facilitate the production or distribution of sexualised images of children. The problem here isn't the law - it's the political willingnesss to enforce it against X.

Lough Sheelin fish kill: 834 trout dead from low oxygen + high temps, NO pollution incident found.

A wake-up call: climate change amps up the impact of chronic diffuse pollution - turning 'acceptable' levels deadly. Time to reframe whats acceptable pollution

KNEECAP ARE NOT THE STORY
If senior politicians can find neither the time, nor the words to condemn, say, the murder of fifteen voluntary aid workers in Gaza, or the illegal starvation of a civilian population as a method of warfare, or the killing of thousands & thousands of children in the same territory, by a state in possession of the highest precision weapons on earth; how much notice should a music festival
take of their moral advice on booking performing acts?
As a band that has spoken publicly for more than 30 years about the illegal occupation, apartheid system and killing with impunity of thousands of Palestinians, we are hyper aware of the both the human cost of abject political silence, and the commercial implications of publicly expressing solidarity with an oppressed people.

I now just beep at any car with a driver obviously looking down at a phone while driving (I live on rural roads) just to wake them up and make them pay extra attention to road - it’s unbelievably dangerous and very, very common now. I am constantly on alert for cars veering on the road too
