Since the 70s only about 40% vote in Midterms (except 2018).

Oh, and I forgot to say, from 2010 to 2020 I had a GOP US House Rep and I went to public events (when she held them, not often) and called her Office ON THE REGULAR.

I was nice to staffers, they just work there. No one in those offices ever hung up on me.

US Reps & Senators have at least a DC Office & up to 5 local offices. Call a different one, ID yourself as a Constituent up front. If you do, you may find a better response from them.

The only voices members of Congress listen to are their constituents. For 50+ yrs only 40% voter participation in Midterms.

Calls from even Dems demanding impeachment in this moment can move them to vote “aye”, if those are their constituents saying it.

I don't allow myself to post when I'm high (*every* time I break that rule I regret it), but I do write little notes to myself to see if they make sense later.
