Good luck! Rockstar should stop with their broken launcher, even when I was running Windows 10, it's still have login and crashing problem. 🤦‍♂️

After some tweaks, I able to run it. My steps were:
1. Run with GE-Proton10-29 first, seem the Rockstars Launcher like this version more for some reason.
2. When getting the Online Club error, I switch to GE-Proton10-33 and able to find the system.xml files under steamusers.

Oh, it tries to connect to Rockstars Online account. I completely forgot they required it just to play the game. You could try to blocking internet connection on that prefix, could force it to offline mode.

Same for me with Frieren. After season 1, I started reading the manga as I couldn't get enough of the world. And waiting a year for the next season was painful.

May I ask is it the UI/UX of the app or the game won't launch? I could see app like heroic could be complicated to setup. As for my case, I have to installed via Flatpak for it to run.

Heroic games launcher is also a good option. Though as expected, the multiplayer is a no go due to anticheat.
