Gen X collectively reliving Challenger, Columbia and Cold War nuclear holocaust anxiety all in the same week is a fucking lot, y'all.

So has Jakirovic too but think Lampard will get it. Think H wins though.
Impossible to disagree with a single word that Ben Rhodes (Obama era NSC official) is saying here:
Millions of American voters wanted to be villains. They came to believe it’s the key to success, while goodness is weak, woke, loser stuff, done only to signal.
Offered the option of unvarnished villainy, they enthusiastically took it. Seeing others suffer more made them feel big.
And here we are.
It was only a month ago that we were knock-out artists making Blues & QPR look like mugs. Momentum can go both ways.
The fact that there’s not a total boycott of the World Cup already in place is a mystery to me

He's definitely our most important cog right now but if he goes, I think you can replicate him collectively if not Individually with the right tweaks and personnel (moneyballesque if you will).
in persian culture, telling someone "we're going to kill you all" is considered deeply offensive
If Trump does give an order to attack civilian targets that have no military value as a means of collectively punishing the Iranian people - and make good his threat to begin a genocide - Marco Rubio should resign and the military must refuse the order.

something strange and horrible and somehow fitting that we should have a very real threat of madman civilizational destruction at the very moment when we also have humans on the dark side of the moon taking pictures that show how small, precious, and beautiful our world and existence is
Robert Harris, author of Fatherland: ‘Imagine Trump’s messages read out by the prosecution at Nuremberg. (“A whole civilisation will die tonight.”) They would have hanged any one of the defendants.’

The US is a rogue nation and should be sanctioned and ostracised by the global community.

Hellberg looks like he'd make a great Number Two.
At this point I'm just rooting for maximum damage to basically every regime involved in this war. We don't want Iran's regime to be able to get a nuclear weapon. We don't want Israel to have the resources to make aggressive war. We don't want the Gulf States to be able to interfere in our politics.

Earth and Moon from DSCOVR NASA's Earth Polychromatic Imaging Camera (EPIC) aboard the Deep Space Climate Observatory (DSCOVR) satellite captured this unique view of the Moon as it moved in front of the sunlit side of Earth last month. This view shows the fully illuminated “dark side” of the moon that is never visible from Earth. Ian Regan processed this version of the image to account for the Moon's motion. NASA / NOAA / Ian Regan
I hadn't seen this before. This is pretty remarkable.

Glad to see him doing well (except last week) - got good money & he wouldn't have played here, doesn't fit the system but Millwall's is tailor made for him.
Even if we don't make it, I think we're in safe hands. We'd lose Hackney but would spend that money on a center forward & players Hellberg wants/will fit his system.
Hopefully you can do us a favour Friday.
We've got Pompey at home Saturday then Ipswich before Sheff Wed & Watford at home in a week before Wrexham Away final day - which I think it will go to.
Think it's going to be tough. Whoever gets it deserves it but I'll take Hull (or Millwall) over two legs if need be.
That said, while Ipswich are in the box seat, only two of their seven left are at home - one of those against us & they go to an in-form, fired-up Norwich this week & go to Saints
