It shows just how versatile this film is.
This is exactly what I wanted to get but didn’t expect I would without levels of recovery which didn’t need to happen

On occasion I do have lots of people in my shots ;-)
Shot at 1/15th which was 3 stops out based on my metering.
But good old 500T held it together

All leaders are now expected to constantly feed the news cycle, creating more & more elaborate lies & bombastic utterances.
They play well especially to boomers / some Gen X who “remember” the old days.
Or like to blame everyone for their poor life choices.
I am a Gen X, it pisses me right off
Aww thank you so much :-)
London underground.

Last one for the night as I work my way through the rolls.

Yeah I hear you
I nearly bought an xm the other night
I was only willing to go to £170 on it.
They too are great but of that age now
Covent Garden.
Not far from the hotel I was staying in on Drury lane.
This caught my eye so I trained my widelux to the sky

I have drooled over these for a long time, but never quite seem to have drooled enough :-)
Thank you, I imagine it is, I remember those days :-(
The last visit before this one I spent a fair bit of time on the older lines and my nose was filled with black soot 🤮
some of the stations are incredibly particulate heavy
I can see why it’s popular
It has plenty space, looks like Russia and is very photogenic 🤩
as was the one before and the one after this one ;-)
Back to doing what I do.
Stoating about with a widelux camera (currently) & exploiting the 1/15th taking 6-7 seconds to rotate
Gants Hill Tube station.
A station filled with lights all over the spectrum.
The eye adapts for it, but film shows what it looks like

cool, makes sense :-)
But why is the next question lol
Couldn't they just wait for better shooting conditions - E.G. light 😜
I didn’t even know iso 51k existed 😂😂😂
Would need to check that.
ISO 51k
And these Nikon droolers are salivating over it 😂😂😂
They literally took iso 64 ektachrome to the moon for all their shots
And used nothing more than iso 160 for earth rise 😂😂😂

That’s no cheap
I only want something cheap cheap so I can say I am shooting a film.
So am no lying when I say to them in shoot wee films with this 😉
Am thinking of shooting wee films (makes it easier to buy bulk 500t)
Lomography LomoKino 35mm Movie Camera.
I reckon this might fit the bill 😂
It shoots films from 35mm rolls. So it does tick the box for shooting films.
Any thoughts #filmphotography
It’s currently in the uk £30 or $40 a roll 😱😱😱 for 35mm
Correct
They are just so different.
For me the Xpan looks at the world and presents it perfectly perfect.
The swing lenses see the world and present it in a most imperfect but incredibly perfect way.
And that’s with the 30😱
I bought 2 Nikon lenses and an adapter now I have a 35mm and a 28mm both with some shifting capabilities.
Some drop off at the edges but the additional width / height makes up for that
It’s crazy wide when you compare
But in use you get so used to the extreme width that everything else seems really tight 😂
Probably a significant reason why I shoot about 15-20 rolls on this to 1-2 on the Xpan.
Another direct comparison. (excuse my bad scanning)
Xpan at top 45mm lens
Widelux below 28mm, same vantage point.

Xpan at top 45mm lens
Widelux below 28mm, same vantage point.
The difference is somewhat significant.
For me the main problem with the Xpan 45mm lens is the lack of height. Width is generally ok, but I now have the 28mm for it that's far more suitable #xpan #widelux #filmphotography
Aye for sure
There are very few of these left in Glasgow.
They have been systematically covering them over with tarmac for decades

It is a hybrid bridge / building construction which I assume explains the allowance for structural movement on the street
Anyone got anything to add to this?
It really is mind boggling the sort of shit I notice.
Yet I walked into the office, sat down & didn't notice a full F1 car in the window...
I was walking past this building the other day and noticed the metal framed rubberised channels on the ground.
It got me thinking about their purpose.
was it some sort bomb screens that rapidly rise.
A bridge? But this didn't make sense.
Got back home and looked up the building
and sure enough..
