the allegra episode is ‘rayo de luz’ and besides from joe getting to know the woman originally after killer frost then wanted to take down meta’s and now has a mushy sob story blah blah blah it’s a must skip episode

sooooo i’m watching season 7 and i have a load of thoughts but i’m just trying my best to get through it but let me say this, sometimes less is more and giving cecile an asylum backstory was…something…and then giving allegra a FULL episode focus was hot GARBAGE and killer frost’s story ????????

psych seems so cool…they’re gonna’ blow his character arc to hell aren’t they ???

the speed force basically becoming a ‘living being’ in some sense that requires healing isn’t impressive, it’s boring, the speed force being an entity gave it that power and constantly looking like barry’s mum ??? give me a BREAK

not a new cecile storyline this season…i don’t care and apparently neither does joe based on his reaction to her full-lung screaming she was doing (i guess his gut feeling isn’t even 60% these days)

so ummmmmmmmmmmmmmm i’m NOT opposed to caitlin/killer frost being two separate people but it just…comes outta’ freakin’ nowhere, like no build up AT ALL…why could the writers never know what to do with them both 🙄

i’m glad that iris is in a support group but again, just not telling barry straight away seems like it’s gonna’ cause’ something down the line !!! and shoe-horning allegra in is downright DUMB

“what exactly was that thing” the CGI is not up to movie ‘standards’ in this show so i always give leeway and most of the time it’s good, but yeah i’ll chalk this one down to it being the ‘made during COVID’ season

WOW ok so they wrapped up eva murdering her husband and framing sue (i think that’s her name? susan? ) pretty quickly 🙄 and OF COURSE the speed force coming back would be tied to iris and barry’s love like they just…they really couldn’t commit to a much cooler storyline then ay’….

oh ok so the H.G wells (original, the 1st) could technically be the ‘one wells to rule them all’ i guess (also something blah blah blah crisis)

the speed of thought is fantastic because it focuses on the core 3 !!! finally !!! also the choice between iris and camilla & singh and the team DON’T choose iris except for barry…that hits you in the GUT

ooohhhhh you can really tell harry was the best of the H.G wells they wrote because his is the only impression by barry that works AND is bearable !!! the writers really goofed killing him off the fools !!!

i thought barry was immune to all the tom foolery but him taking on all of the H.G wells variants from nash ??? only on episode 1 of season 7 and i know i’m not in for a good time am i ???
