Always a good day when the Brooks Range is involved. Helped out at work with a cargo run to Anaktuvuk Pass this afternoon with one of our pilots.

Is that one of the newer Nortons or a restomod? Either way we're gonna need more pics and a review if that's yours

The local Triumph dealer had a mid-2010s one briefly but it sold before I had a chance to think about buying it

There seem to be a lot of mainsplainy type quote posters, even for simple things. Someone tried to explain volcanoes with one of my last Rainier pics... it's a volcano, we learned what those are in pre-school, okay?

She'd love it I think. Maybe wait until you're airborne and introduce her to the flight crew by letting her roam around the plane or play in the trash cans

And don't lose track of her or this will happen:

I'm glad I bought my old perpetually licensed version of Affinity (and Capture One) before it got enshittified

Photomator (recently bought out by apple so its days are numbered) is also AI free though it contains ML based masking. I use it on iOS. Perpetual license is available

Just before the sun arrives a silhouette vibe sits along the river as clouds drift by. The yellow glow of sunrise along the horizon starts the glow of daybreak.

As a side note, the thought of Shillbilly running around the EU with his cock and balls out and flopping in the breeze is traumatizing

Can we not use that phrase again please?

Unless Russia already knows about it, endorses it, and stands to make a huge profit off of fuel sales in a time of scarcity while also continuing arms sales to the remains of Iran

Ebay or some esoteric trinket collector FB group ASAP

I got put in the same position after a disliked relative passed away and I just passively stuck everything in a box that got stuck in with all the other boxes, and that costs money and time to store/move

Photographed to death by everybody including the great and the good. Originally built in 1961 as a Methodist Chapel for quarry workers, apparently it was soon converted into a social club. Merrivale Quarry has been closed now for some years.

Slightly off topic but I've been moving my services out of the US (I'm American; PNW) and a lot of the EU service providers just seem less scummy/greedy while having comparable availability

Akamai (Microsoft subsidiary) is the last American one left and it's being replaced by Hetzner this week

A cobbled alleyway between a gable end terrace & the walls of terrace houses back gardens.A maple tree from one of the yards curves over the wall reaching over the alley, framed against a clear sunny sky. At the end a shabby shuttered gate & a wall covered in ivy in front of more houses. Most of the alleyway is in dark shadow but the end opens out in strong sunlight which casts an angular shadow across the cobbles & up the wall.

The bikes went to Safeco and the cars to State Farm

I had an incident with State Farm also: I got backed into, other guy was armed and scared I might be aggressive, and not realizing he was on speakerphone the state farm agent tried to get me to escalate and antagonize him

I hate these people

I only found out they dropped me because the bank sent me a letter saying I required insurance for the 911

There weren't any wrecks, tickets, or other incidents involved... just a case of whether or not Hanlons Razor was in effect
