Hugo's what I run, it's kinda like the default choice but it works well, and the hugomods docker images are veri naise :p

I've also heard that zolla, which is written in rust, also works well!

If apps are required to verify the hardware, operating system and their app for regulatory reasons they should use an approach supporting arbitrary roots of trust and operating systems. Android already has a standard hardware attestation system usable for this.

Once again, funny.

But, instead of using AI generated slop to convey this joke, how about you draw it yourself? Or better yet, pay an artist a comission for creating it for you?

Cheers!

I won't lie to you, there is a learning curve. If you've used nothing but Windows or MacOS your whole life, it'll take you a while to feel like you have a solid understanding of how things work.

There are great resources and wiki's out there. If all else fails, never be afraid to ask for help!

Linux is the future.

I've been daily driving Linux for over half a decade, there have been ups and downs of course, but in the long run it is well worth the peace of mind.

I highly suggest you give it a shot if you're willing to learn something new, or are interested in computers in general.

Dunno about you, but some of the covers of awesome songs by other bands that I've listened to have been bangers.

Granted I prefer older music but, it counts!

Case & point: Rossana - TOTO IV, covered by Weezer. Iz prety gud.

Even if world governments decided to take down anyone hosting banned software downloads, there's always good ol' P2P. If that gets targeted, anonymization networks like Tor, I2P, etc. are also available.

Point is, no matter what, people will always have some way of accessing said software.

Great to know!

If projects like GrapheneOS are banned or otherwise censored for refusing to comply with data collection requirements (like age), I find a little sollice in knowing it's very difficult to make a certain piece of software unobtainable, unless it was private to begin with.

GrapheneOS will remain usable by anyone around the world without requiring personal information, identification or an account. GrapheneOS and our services will remain available internationally. If GrapheneOS devices can't be sold in a region due to their regulations, so be it.
