While I do get the joke, I believe that the shader bible does make sense in print. Not for me and you, yes, but for some people. Remember when ebooks were not a thing, and all computer books were in print? A lot of people still prefer it this way, because that's how they learned 30 years ago.

I had to stop calling game AI that, because I noticed that people unfamiliar with flgames thought I was using GenAI and that made me feel icky. I now call it Bots or CPUs, like in the good old days before I was even born.

It has a horrible return-to-player rate, too. But there is an argument to be made that it can be a game of skill, and not one of chance. So, I think the definition would be somewhat murky.

The worst part about making a local multiplayer game is that when it comes time to playtest it, you must either settle for a non-gamer wife and a five-year-old kid or you need to somehow convince people to actually physically come over. And that's almost impossible since COVID.
