Just finished this book finally. I had picked it up but set it down when others had a shorter due date. Sweet - very, very sweet. It was sometimes sad, sometimes serious, sometimes funny but very very sweet. #BookSky #52Books #52BookChallenge

This was the first Jodi Picoult book that I've read and if the others are anything like this, I'll line up to read them. Beautiful prose and dialogue and a stunning amount of research done to produce this novel. #BookSky #52Books #52BookChallenge

This district is just letting AI make random guesses at what books to ban, and since AI can't actually read or interpret books, it's just flagging any book not specifically listed as a kids book, even if they used to be required reading.

I know I'm late to the game but this was recommended by so many that I had to read it. Waited for months on Libby to get it and so glad I did. It's a beautiful story that we should all read. #BookSky #52books #52bookchallenge

I am educating my brother about Hoopla and Libby. He wanted me to help him buy him an audiobook on Spotify and I said, "But, WAIT! Do you have a library card? Cause, that audiobook you want to listen to? The library has the whole series! For freeeeeee!!!"
Awesome 👏
@retired-librarian.bsky.social so because the weight is so long at my library to get the book, I watched the movie and also the production from the national Theatre company. I really enjoyed both. #Frankenstein.
Sigh. This memoir or remembrance is a poignant piece written by a mother after the loss of two sons to suicide. She deals with facts. Although she now lives in the abyss, she is the still the mother and they are still her sons. She strives to understand and accept. #Booksky #52Books #52BookChallenge
Arizona Senator Mark Kelly received the International Economic Development Award from GPEC’s Christine Mackay!
Our session tomorrow is shaping up well! Come listen to why economic developers should be on the front range of climate action.
You obviously needed and deserved it.
aha! Obviously I have not seen it.
What is the deal with it? Everyone I know is talking about it. What have I missed?
